THERE might be just the three games in Round 18 of the WAFL on Saturday but the trio of battles all have plenty at stake for the six competing teams.

For the second straight week, the WAFL will head to a regional centre as part of the Department of Sport and Recreation’s Country Sport Enrichment Scheme.

This Saturday Busselton will host its second ever WAFL fixture at Sir Stewart Bovell Park with East Perth taking on South Fremantle. The Royals could break into the top five with a win while the Bulldogs are shooting for a fifth straight victory.

Perth is also back at Lathlain Park to host West Perth on Saturday. The Demons are looking to snap an eight-match losing streak while the Falcons have lost their past four and need to win to ensure they remain in fifth position.

The third and final game of the round on Saturday takes place at Bendigo Bank Stadium and is a grand final rematch from last year with the reigning premiers Peel Thunder hosting Subiaco.

The game bounces down at 2.40pm and will be shown live on 7mate and shapes as being a tremendous contest. Peel comes into the contest in third spot having won five straight while Subiaco clear on top with a 14-match winning streak.

Claremont, East Fremantle and Swan Districts all have the Round 18 bye.
