The results of elections for Commissioners of the West Australian Football Commission were endorsed tonight, Wednesday November 16, by the Nominee Members of the WAFC (WA’s AFL and WAFL Clubs) at a meeting of WA Football stakeholders.

Current WAFC Commissioners Hon. Cheryl Edwardes AM and Mr. Neil Randall were each reappointed for terms of three years.

WAFC Chairman Murray McHenry congratulated both Commissioners on their reappointments.

“Cheryl and Neil have both done a terrific job since being appointed as Commissioners and will continue to add tremendous value with their knowledge, experience and passion for WA Football,” Mr McHenry said.

“We are very fortunate to have such high-quality volunteers dedicating their time to our game in this State and ensuring we deliver the best possible outcomes for our football community and its participants.

“I look forward to working with all Commissioners as we move into a period of reform for football in WA with a clear focus on ensuring it remains successful and sustainable for future generations.”
