THERE were once again plenty of fascinating results and standout individual performances across the reserves and REDiMED Colts during Round 6 of the 2017 season.

The reserves action saw Claremont defeat Subiaco 11.5 (71) to 9.11 (65), Perth beat East Perth 10.16 (76) to 10.13 (73), South Fremantle down East Fremantle 8.13 (61) to 6.15 (51) and West Perth prevail over Swan Districts 15.6 (96) to 9.9 (63).

The results leave South Fremantle (5-1) on top of the ladder ahead of Perth (4-1), West Perth (3-2), Subiaco (3-3) and East Perth (2-4). Just outside the top five are East Fremantle (2-3), Claremont (2-3), Peel Thunder (2-3) and Swan Districts (1-4).

Meanwhile in the REDiMED Colts, Subiaco beat Claremont 10.16 (76) to 8.9 (57), East Perth defeat Perth 17.11 (113) to 6.9 (45), East Fremantle down South Fremantle 12.15 (87) to 5.8 (38) and Swan Districts win over West Perth 10.14 (74) to 7.5 (47).

That leaves Peel Thunder (4-1) on top of the ladder ahead of East Fremantle (4-1), Swan Districts (4-1), Claremont (3-2) and Subiaco (3-3). Outside the top five are West Perth (3-2), East Perth (2-4), South Fremantle (1-5) and Perth (0-5).

STANDOUT RESERVES PERFORMERS
Claremont's reserves scored a tight five-point victory over Subiaco at East Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

Dylan Holt and Kaiden Gilbert booted two goals each for Claremont in the victory.

Lachlan Martinis racked up 29 possessions, Ben Musitano 20, Jacob Sideris 17 and Jared Hardisty 17 while Jeremy Goddard amassed 44 hit outs in the ruck.

Justin Joyce, Reid Polak and Daniel Leach kicked two goals each for Subiaco.

Greg Clark gathered 28 possessions for the Lions to go with eight tackles, seven inside-50 entries and six marks. Jacob Miller also had 21 disposals, Liam Catalfamo 20, Dylan Clarke 19 and Leach 18.

It was another thrilling contest at Leederville Oval with Perth holding off a furious East Perth fightback to win by three points.

Callum Papertalk kicked three goals for Perth and Callum Walley two.

Julian Jacobs gathered 27 possessions for the Demons, Taran Etto 24, Callum Marshall 23, Daniel Horan 19, Kurtis Chester 19, Guy Piggott 17 and Jayden Johnstone 17.

Mark Longbottom kicked four goals for East Perth while Stan Wright picked up 25 disposals, Jordan Snadden 24, Callum Hart 23, Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls 20, Ben Miller 19 and Nelson Waite 19.

Then in the reserves contest at HBF Arena on Saturday, West Perth recorded a 15.6 (96) to 9.9 (63) over Swan Districts.

Mitch Peirce was the dominant presence in the game finishing with 38 possessions, nine marks and three goals for West Perth.

Joel Bennett also kicked four goals for the Falcons and Nick Marinovich three.

James Batterham picked up 30 possessions for West Perth, Conal Lynch 29, Brayden Antonio 24, Alexander Coe 24, Jordan Mills 23, Joel Horgan 20, Tom O'Brien 19, Kael Coleman 19 and Ben McGillivray 18.

Josh Kirkup booted three goals for Swan Districts with Ethan Maguire finishing with 32 possessions, Jackson Slater 26, Jesse Manton 22, Levi Ridley 22, Brody Sutton 21, Brandon Erceg 21, Logan Hughes 21, Mitchell Mackenzie 21 and Josh Cipro 18.

The reserves contest at Fremantle Community Bank Oval took place on ANZAC Day itself with South Fremantle remaining on top of the ladder beating East Fremantle 8.13 (61) to 6.15 (51).

Mitch Dzelebdzic and Alex Robinson kicked two goals apiece for South Fremantle.

Jake Florenca racked up 34 possessions for the Bulldogs, Jarrod Parry 26, Matthew Parker 24, Chad Pearson 23, Daniel Burke 21, Cruze Wilson 20, Noah Strom 19 and Josh Pullman 18 to go with seven marks.

Jake Solomon worked hard in the ruck too for 17 disposals and 42 hit outs.

Matthew Burton kicked two goals for East Fremantle.

Ben Harding racked up 30 possessions for the Sharks, Peter Delaney 28, Jake Schleicher 28, Tom Omodei 22 and Sean Henson 20.

REDiMED COLTS SHINING LIGHTS
Subiaco's colts made a winning start on Saturday at East Fremantle Oval beating Claremont by 19 points.

Che Wyatt kicked three goals for Subiaco while Ben Miller booted two to go with 17 disposals and 17 hit outs while Brayden Ainsworth compiled 32 touches.

Max Dennis racked up 30 possessions for the Lions, Kyron Hayden 24, Tom Edwards-Baldwin 23, Luke Foley 19 and Liam Connolly 18.

Cooper Nitschke was the standout for Claremont despite the loss finishing the game with five goals from 16 possessions.

Jake Patmore gathered 29 disposals for the Tigers, Callan England 25, Rylie Morgan 25, Jack Lewsey 22, Declan McNamara 18 and Tom Baldwin 16.

East Perth's colts kept Perth winless at Leederville Oval on Saturday recording a 68-point victory.

Liam Martin kicked four goals for East Perth with Jacob Oakes, Christian Ameduri and Ben McGuire all booting two apiece.

Ameduri also amassed 23 possessions for the Royals, Nathan Arbon 20, Damon Greaves 20, Eric Bashemule 19, Matthew Young 19, Tom Vellios 19, Mitchell Gupanis 18 and Kane La Fontaine-Roberts 17.

Trent Simpson kicked three goals for Perth with Caelen Bennell racking up 30 possessions, Tom Gooch 29, Luke English 20, Joseph Ugle 18 and Simon Hayward 18.

The day began at HBF Arena with the colts contest and that saw Swan Districts beat West Perth 10.14 (74) to 7.5 (47).

Jackson Beck, Malaki Rodoreda and Atem Deng all kicked two goals apiece for the black-and-whites.

Beck also picked up 20 possessions for Swans, Samuel Taylor 19, Blake Pescud 19, William Reidy 19, Jack O'Sullivan 19 and Lochie Huntley 18.

Zak Patterson and Noah Clune kicked two goals apiece for West Perth.

Connor West racked up 32 possessions, Bailey Chalmers 26, Lachlan Sherriffs 25, Oscar Allen 25, Tyrese Miller 25, Nathan Murray 24, Josh Hunter 20, Tom Medhat 18, Baylee James 18 and Dylan Yem 17.

The derby began right back on Saturday at Fremantle Community Bank Oval with the colts contest that saw East Fremantle defeat South Fremantle 12.15 (87) to 5.8 (38).

Dillon O'Reilly and Ambrose Ryan kicked three goals each for East Fremantle with Joshua Ritchie and Samuel Lewis also booting two majors.

Liam Rajanayagam compiled 23 possessions for the Sharks, Gabriel Parfitt 23, Dylan Williams 21, Jayden Quill 20 and Zachary Jackson 18.

Jeremy Sierociak kicked two goals for South Fremantle as did Terykk Cox.

Michael Redman gathered 26 possessions for the Bulldogs, Regan Spooner 21, Kyle Hamersley 18 and Bruno Faulkner 16.
