Peel Thunder through to WAFL Grand Final

PEEL Thunder are aiming for back-to-back WAFL Premierships after progressing to the Grand Final on Sunday, September 24 with a four-goal win over Subiaco in the 2nd Semi-Final at Leederville Oval today.

Peel now have the week off while Subiaco will host South Fremantle in the Preliminary Final next Sunday at Leederville Oval.

South Fremantle were convincing 80-point winners over Swan Districts in the 1st Semi-Final at Fremantle Oval in front of a crowd of 3884 people.

A total of 2996 attended the Subiaco and Peel Thunder game at Leederville.

Earlier in the day, East Fremantle progressed to the Colts Grand Final with a 15-point win over Claremont.

Claremont will meet East Perth in the Colts Preliminary Final after they defeated Swan Districts in the 1st Semi-Final.

In the Reserves, South Fremantle progressed to the Grand Final with a convincing win over Subiaco.

Subiaco will play Claremont in the Reserves Preliminary Final after they also defeated Swan Districts.
