It’s not everyday a footy fan walks away from a game with a brand new car. But for Subiaco supporter Penelope Riley that’s exactly what happened when she was picked out of the fans who pre-purchased tickets to the WAFL Grand Final to win a car thanks to AHG.
Struggling to come to terms with the fact that she was only four short of guessing the exact number of footballs in the boot of the brand new Holden Cruze, Penelope couldn’t believe it was hers to own.
“Me winning a car, I just don’t believe it one bit,” Penelope said.
Penelope from Como has been a proud Subiaco supporter for many years and knows just how important grassroots footy is to the WA community.
“I love the WAFL because it’s something that’s ours, it promotes young footballers and the Grand Final is such a great day out,” she said.
AHG’s car couldn’t have come at a better time for Penelope who was searching for a new car.
“Why wouldn’t someone go to the football when they have a chance of winning such a beautiful prize,” Penelope said.
“Having a promotion like this just makes it even more exciting and worthwhile.”
