Teachers who run outstanding football programs in their schools can win a trip for two to a 2015 AFL Finals game.

Nominations are now open for teachers who have run an outstanding program during August 2014 to July 2015. Nominations can be made by school staff, community football groups or WAFC employees.

Finalists in each of the seven categories will be invited to attend the Woolworths AFL School Ambassador of the Year Awards night where the winners will be announced.

Nominees must be registered School Ambassadors. Woolworths became the new national AFL Schools program partner in 2015.

Over the past 10 years there have been over 40 category winners from nearly 30 different schools across the state. In 2014, 100 nominations were received and shortlisted to 35 finalists.

Nominations for the 2015 Woolworths AFL School Ambassador of the Year opened on Monday April 20 and close on July 3 – the last day of Term 2.
