The AFL 9s Tournament will be played at Patersons Stadium on November 29th. A number of great prizes will be on offer to players and teams, so read up and give it your best crack to win one of the below awards!

‘The Hey Jude’

Prize: A Signed Australian International Rules Jersey

The top gong of the tournament will be awarded to the player who plays the game in the best spirit throughout the day. The award is named after and presented by a man who is infamous for being a good bloke – Sydney Swans Premiership Player and AFL 9s Ambassador – Jude Bolton.

We don’t care if you’re a footy star or can’t kick the ball more than 5 metres! All we care about is how you go about the business of being a good sport.

At the conclusion of each game team captains will choose a player from the other team that played the game in the best spirit. By the end of Round 4 we’ll have unearthed the inaugural winner of the Hey Jude.

The Warwick Kappa Award for the Best Dressed Team

Prize: A 12 person open air box to an AFL match at Patersons Stadium in 2015.

We want you to dress up and have a bit of fun so we created an award for it. Named after one of the best dressed men in the football – Warwick Kappa – we are looking for the team with most creative kit to take out the prize of the day.

Photos of the Day – #afl9schamps

Prize: Fremantle Dockers Jumper (x 10)

We are looking for the best 10 photos using #afl9schamps to hit Facebook, Instragram or Twitter! Just take a ripper pic and use the #afl9schamps to go in the running to win a Fremantle Dockers Jumper. Winners will be presented throughout the day so keep an ear out.

West Coast Winners

Prizes: Signed West Coast Eagles Football’s & Hats

We’ll have the West Coast Eagles on hand to randomly pick the ‘West Coast Winners’ on the day.
