State Talent and Draft"
NINE West Australian players were selected in the 2014 AFL Women’s Draft last night, including No.1 pick Tiah Haynes and a total of five in the top 10.
The Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Football Clubs each made 12 selections to complete their teams that will play in the AFL Women’s Exhibition Match on Sunday June 29 at Etihad Stadium.
Six other WA players were retained from last year’s Draft, meaning a total of 15 WA women will compete in the match.
The following WA players were selected in the 2104 Draft:
