The West Australian Football Commission is saddened by the passing of WA Football great Tom Grljusich.

Grljusich played 258 games with South Fremantle, a club record at the time of his retirement and a South Fremantle Premiership player in 1970.

He won the club’s Best and Fairest award on three occasions. In 1972, he also emerged as the club’s leading goal kicker. His talent earned him the honour of representing WA on nine occasions.

In recognition of his outstanding service and contributions to the club, Grljusich was made a Life Member at South Fremantle in 1974.

His legacy was further commemorated in 2015 when he was inducted into the WA Football Hall of Fame.
