The countdown is officially on, with Country Football WA today launching promotion for the 2026 Country Championships, set to bring together the state’s best country football talent across four days of competition from 9th –12th July 2026.

The 2026 Country Championships, now into their 62nd year, will once again showcase the passion, rivalry and pride of regional football, with teams travelling from across the state to compete for championship honours.

Returning as naming rights partner of the Senior Men’s Championships, Nutrien Ag Solutions continues its long-standing support of country football communities across Western Australia.

Alongside the men’s competition, the event will feature the CBH Group Colts Championships, highlighting emerging talent and strengthening pathways for young players across regional WA.

Executive Manager Country Football, Facilities & Affiliates Brent Hedley said the Country Championships remained one of the most significant events on the football calendar.

“The Country Championships represent everything that makes regional football special, community pride, connection and the opportunity for players to represent where they come from on one of the biggest stages in country football.”

“Every year we see thousands of players, volunteers, supporters and officials come together, and we’re excited to begin building momentum towards another outstanding Championships in 2026.”

“We’re also incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of Nutrien Ag Solutions, whose commitment to regional communities aligns strongly with the values of country football.”

Andrew Duperouzel, Nutrien Ag Solutions West Region Manager said “Nutrien Ag Solutions was proud to continue supporting an event that celebrates regional communities.”

“Country football plays an important role in bringing communities together, and Nutrien Ag Solutions is proud to continue supporting the Championships and the people who make regional football thrive.”

“The Championships showcase not only elite football talent, but also the resilience, connection and community spirit that exists across regional Western Australia.”

“We’re looking forward to another exciting year and seeing communities rally behind their teams.”

The 2026 Country Championships will feature more than 50 matches across multiple venues, with hundreds of players, coaches, umpires and volunteers contributing to one of the largest celebrations of regional football in Western Australia.

Further announcements including fixtures, team information, livestream details and event activations will be released in the lead-up to July. For updates, visit https://countryfootballwa.com.au/ or follow Country Football WA across social media.
