Iona has claimed the 2019 Freo Dockers Cup White Division title following a thrilling extra time victory over Eastern Hills.

The two sides could not be separated in regulation time but a goal by Iona’s Manon Rodet with a minute remaining in extra time was enough to get her team over the line, 4.4 (28) to 3.4 (22).

The match was tight throughout with Iona leading by a solitary point at half time before Eastern Hills erased the deficit in the second half but couldn’t find a match-winning score late in the game.

Iona coach Cam Eardley presented Isabella Cozza with the match ball as best on ground in the Grand Final.

Lucy Cole was named the season’s Best & Fairest for Easter Hills by coach Jake Davis.
