Sullivan Logistics WAFL Trophy Tour wraps up with Pinjarra, Albany stopsFriday, August 8, 2025 - 3:36 PM - by Jordan McArdle

The Sullivan Logistics WAFL Trophy Tour wrapped up this week with back-to-back events in Pinjarra and Albany.

The three-stop regional trophy tour, which kicked off in Katanning last week, saw more than 250 kids take part in junior football clinics while their families watched on from the state-of-the-art Sullivan Logistics Truck which opened up into a multi-level viewing platform.

The nearly 100 junior footballers from Southern Districts Junior Football Association who took part in Thursday’s Albany clinic at Centennial Park were treated to a special surprise with the AFL premiership cup joining the WAFL and WAFLW trophies which featured at every stop.

Peel Thunder players Archie Caldow, Sean Hunter, Krystal Carter and Chelsea Hutchinson helped out with junior clinic hosting duties at stop two of the tour in Pinjarra and were a massive hit with the kids.

“It was fantastic to head out to the regions for our inaugural Sullivan Logistics WAFL Trophy Tour ahead of what’s going to be a massive finals campaign across the WAFL and WAFLW competitions,” Sullivan Logistics founder Tim Sullivan said.

“Each stop was unique and provided a number of highlights and we’re excited about visiting more rich footballing heartlands next year and build on what we started.

“Sullivan Logistics is proud to be a part of the trophy tour and connect with the regions, just like we have on a day-to-day basis since our inception in 1995.

“As naming rights partner of the WAFL and major partner of the WAFLW, we know the importance regional communities play in keeping the competitions thriving.”

“We couldn’t be happier with how the inaugural Sullivan Logistics WAFL Trophy Tour panned out,” WA Football’s Head of Business Development Oliver Condon added.

“The regional footy communities of Katanning, Pinjarra and Albany really got behind the tour and we had fantastic turnouts at all three locations.

“It couldn’t have been achieved without the support of our partners including Sullivan Logistics, Kia and Asahi Beverages.

“Sullivan Logistics are a driving force behind the tour and share WA Football’s passion for growing grassroots footy in our regional areas.

“We can’t wait to build on the success of this year’s tour and make it bigger and better next season as we look to inspire the next generation of country footballers.”
