Claremont young gun Juliet Kelly was today announced as a replacement player for the Adelaide Crows AFLW side in a well-deserved opportunity.
It comes a little over a fortnight after her staggering 47-disposal display in the Tigers’ WAFLW victory over Perth.
The ball magnet and tackling machine has long been on the radar on AFLW clubs after an impressive AFLW National Under-18s Championship last season followed by a premiership for Claremont.

She was also stunningly overlooked for the recent AFLW Pre-Season Draft before finally getting an opportunity to showcase her talents.
Kelly will start pre-season with the Crows immediately in a massive blow for the Tigers’ hopes of another WAFLW flag.
The 18-year-old, who averaged 30 disposals and 7.5 tackles in the WAFLW this season, is the second WAFLW star picked up as a replacement player in as many weeks after Demons sharpshooter Poppy Stockwell was signed by Hawthorn.
She impressed in a short training stint with the Crows before getting signed.
