Emmanuel Catholic College has claimed its third consecutive premiership, winning the Jakovich Division at the Year 11/12 Eagles Senior Schoolboys Cup.
In a thrilling Grand Final decided by just two points, Emmanuel College defeated Mazenod College 4.8 (32) to 4.6 (30)
The Rhys Kampen Medal for Best Team Player of the Season was awarded to Noah Hayden from Emmanuel College.
In other results, Newman College beat Court Grammar School 7.8 (50) to 5.4 (34) in the Glendinning Division of the competition.
John XXIII College 10.1 (61) def Melville SHS 5.8 (38) in the C Grade decider, while the Walker Division title was won by Bunbury Catholic College 6.4 (40) over Our Lady of Mercy College 4.5 (29).
In the Year 8/9 Eagles Schoolboys Cup, a historic result for Mazenod College, taking out the Waalitj Division Grand Final, their first premiership since 2001.
Mazenod was too good for Comet Bay College 5.4 (34) to 1.6 (12).
The Ross Davis Medal for Best on Ground was won by Isaac Whan of Mazenod College.
In the Eagle Division, Newman College 9.4 (58) defeated Hammond Park Secondary College 0.7 (7).
Ben Cribb, School Programs & Competitions Co-Ordinator at WA Football, congratulated the winning teams and all the participants.
“WA Football would also like to thank the West Coast Eagles for their ongoing support,” Cribb said.
