SEDA College has continued its remarkable run at the Freo Dockers Cup, winning a sixth consecutive premiership.
In the Moore Division of the competition for Year 10-12 girls, SEDA scored a comprehensive victory over Mandurah Catholic College 8.6 (54) to 1.2 (8).
In the White Division, Court Grammar School 7.6 (48) defeated Mater Dei College 2.1 (13), while in the Vanderweide Division, Bunbury Senior High School claimed a seven-point win over SEDA College 4.4 (28) to 3.3 (21).
The Fagents Medal for Best Team Player of the Competition was awarded to Chelsea Geddes from North Albany Senior High School.
Ben Cribb, School Programs & Competitions Co-Ordinator at WA Football, congratulated the winning teams and the players who took part.
“WA Football would also like to thank the Fremantle Dockers for the support they give this program,” Cribb said.
“The standard of football continues to improve, and the competitiveness of the event makes the Freo Dockers Cup a great pathway for aspiring footballers.”
The Year 7-9 Freo Dockers Schoolgirls Cup is currently being played with finals to be staged next month.
