Mater Dei College has won the Fremantle Dockers Cup Moore Division for the first time ever, defeating John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School by 15 points in the Grand Final at Optus Stadium on Sunday July 29.

Emily Bennett, pictured, was named the best player for the winning side and JSR presented their award to Violet Bartell.

WA Football Commission Schools Specialist David Lindsay said the opportunity to play the Grand Final at Optus Stadium was a thrill for all of the players.

“It was a fantastic competition and playing the Grand Final at Optus Stadium was a fitting way to conclude the season,” he said.
