The travelling SANFL side for Saturday’s clash against the Kia WAFL State Team will look a little different, with 10 members of last year’s side absent including captain and star forward Liam McBean.
Former West Coast Eagle Matthew Allen and his Glenelg teammates Lachie Hosie and Jonty Scharenberg, Sturt’s Zac Becker, Will Coomblas and Josh Doyle, West Adelaide’s Kobe Ryan and Tom Scully, and South Adelaide’s Oscar Clavarino have all been ruled out, while Sturt and former Port Adelaide goalsneak Jed McEntee was omitted.

There’s plenty of familiar faces to WAFL fans in the Croweaters’ team including a Sandover Medal winner in former Swan Districts midfielder Nik Rokahr (now at Norwood), former East Perth jet and State game Simpson Medal winner Angus Schumacher and former Dockers-listed Peel Thunder stars Tom Emmett and Jack Delean.
Former Claremont and Port Adelaide player Marty Frederick, the twin brother of Dockers speedster Michael, is also in the squad as 32.
