Paul Johnson named WAFL State captain

East Perth’s Paul Johnson was announced 2013 WAFL State Team captain and Perth’s Paul Bevan was named vice captain at an official jumper presentation at Claremont Oval last night, Wednesday May 8.

Paul Johnson said he was privileged and honoured to be named as captain by State coach Marc Webb.

Paul Johnson, 28, has played 60 WAFL games for Swan Districts & East Perth since making his League debut in 2003. He is averaging 17 possessions for East Perth this season.

Paul Bevan, 28, has played 23 WAFL games for Perth since making his League debut in 2012. He is averaging 18 possessions for Perth this season.
