The WA State Academy will undertake the second round of trial games this Friday following last week’s fixtures held at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean.

The trial games are an important part of the State Academy’s preparation and selection process ahead of the AFL National Championships in June and July.

The first intake of players for the 2018 WA State Academy was completed at the end of April.

This included 47 players in the 16s age group and 38 in the 18s age group, including seven 17-year-old development players.
