Former Perth Glory Chief Executive Jeff Dennis has been appointed as new Chief Executive of the Swan Districts Football Club after an extensive selection process.

Dennis previously served as West Perth Football Club Manager and Regional Development Officer before joining the Glory.

Swan Districts President Peter Hodyl said more than 40 people applied for the position.

“Jeff’s extensive management experience at different levels of three sporting codes made him a standout,” Hodyl said.

“His qualifications in marketing and education will be important as the Club enters the planning phase for a multi-million-dollar redevelopment at Steel Blue Oval.”

Dennis said he is looking forward to returning to sports management and helping the club’s management team achieve great things.

“Swan Districts is a great club with great people and I am very excited to be offered this challenging opportunity,” Dennis said.

His appointment comes after former Swans Chief Executive Tom Bottrell left the club December last year to return to his original WAFL club South Fremantle.
