The Peel Thunderbirds Football Club is seeking applications for the position of Women’s Senior Head Coach for the 2019 season.

To be considered for this role, you will need significant and successful experience developing players, along with outstanding communication and leadership skills. Our club is also focused on developing these people to be respected members of our community and the successful applicant will have the values and integrity needed to achieve this objective
Suitable applicants will possess;
People Management & Planning:
- Capacity to effectively manage young talented athletes and associated staff
- Ability to lead, and influence within a high performance environment
- Display a good understanding of the Peel Thunder Football Club zone
- A passion for driving a strong and inclusive culture
- Bring a fresh, energetic and positive attitude along with being well prepared
- Assist with the recruitment of players
Football Knowledge:
- Understanding of development theories and practice
- Strong knowledge of coaching techniques/strategies/tactics
- Sound understanding of skill development and learning strategies
Effective Communication:
- Highly developed and proven communication (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills.
Qualification:
- Level 2 coach accreditation (minimum or working towards Level 2)
Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and coaching resume, with references (maximum of three A4 pages), which addresses the key competencies outlined above.
