WA Product Picked For Bachar Houli Academy

Naka Herwanto from WA is preparing for a series of events after being selected for the 2026 Bachar Houli National Senior Boys Academy.

Herwanto, an AAMI WA Football State 16s Squad member, impressed Bachar Houli (Founder and Head Coach), Ahmed Saad (Programs and High Performance) and Ali Fahour (Co-Founder and General Manager) at the WA Senior Boys Trial Day.

The 15-year-old is a product of South Perth Junior Football Club and featured for East Fremantle’s undefeated CTF WAFL Futures side last season.

Pinar Komur, Multicultural and Bachar Houli Programs Officer at WA Football, is delighted Herwanto has been given the opportunity.

“It’s a fantastic achievement and a great example of the pathway the Bachar Houli Foundation creates for young people in WA,” Komur said.

The Bachar Houli Foundation partnered with WA Football to host the Bachar Houli National Senior Boys Academy WA Trial Day last month.

The Academy kicked off last Saturday and below are the key events Herwanto and the squad have this week in Victoria.
