Six West Australians will live out a childhood dream when they take part in the Marsh AFL National Futures Boys match at the MCG ahead of the Toyota AFL Grand Final between the Fremantle Dockers and the Brisbane Lions.
The Under-17 squad features West Perth trio Campbell Creyk, Maxim Collins and Rafe Williiamson, Perth’s Fynn Tomasini, East Fremantle’s James Artemis and Axel Walsh from East Perth.
Artemis is fresh from a premiership with the Sharks in the EGT Colts Grand Final yesterday over South Fremantle, with Walsh a standout tall talent playing two League finals for the Royals and destined to join the Tasmanian Devils.
The squad features several father-son prospects including Koby Bewick (son of Darren), Percy Burgoyne (son of Shaun), Tevita Rodan (son of David) and Louis Salopek (son of Steven).
