The WAFL 16s Carnival commenced on the weekend, with Perth, East Perth, Peel Thunder and Swan Districts all claiming wins in their opening games.
At the conclusion of the WAFL 16’s Carnival, the State 16s Academy will be selected. This squad will train over a 10 week period before a travelling party of 25 players will be selected to participate in the NAB AFL under 16 Championships held in Sydney in July.
