“The development carnival provides a unique opportunity for players, coaches and umpires to be exposed to an enhanced level of competition and training which plays a vital role in their development,” WAFL Pathways Manager Darren Davis said.
At the conclusion of the WAFL 16s Carnival, the State 16s Academy will be selected. This squad will train over a 10 week period before a travelling party of 25 players will be selected to participate in the NAB AFL under 16 Championships held in Sydney in July.
