The Queens Park Bulldogs won their inaugural Division 1 Premiership flag by defeating reining premiers Warwick/Greenwood in front of almost 1000 people at the Metropolitan Football League Grand Final last weekend.

Having formed in 2013 and tasting immediate premiership glory in their first season together in the Division 2 competition, the Bulldogs took all before them as they stormed their way to victory.

The club was formed from a strong alignment with the Queens Park Junior Football club (formed in 1964) and have gone from strength to strength.

In Division 2, Midland defeated Dwellingup to take out the Premiership.

The MFL has found a niche in the community football landscape providing a Sunday senior male competition opportunity.
