In Round 5 of the RediMed Colts East Perth defeated West Perth 20.19 (139) to 8.5 (53), East Fremantle lost to Claremont by 31 points, Perth Colts beat the Bulldogs 13.12 (90) to 9.5 (59) and Swan Districts downed Subiaco by 69 points.
