South Fremantle forward Sabrina Frederick-Traub has taken one massive leap for WA female footy after she was appointed one of two female AFL Multicultural Ambassadors.

The 19-year-old from England will join the likes of footy idol and West Coast superstar Nic Naitanui and 16 other players to help raise cultural understanding, inclusion and participation at all levels of Australian Football.

Sabrina whose talent was showcased in last year’s AFL Female Exhibition Game, is fast becoming a well-respected role model within her community.

The full-forward who can also pinch-hit in the ruck developed a love of the game at the age of 12 after she trialled for the school footy team as a way to fit in with the kids.

Take a look at how Sabrina made it to the elite AFL level and what goals she has set herself for the season ahead in #WAFootyTV Episode One!
