Last year’s Grand Finalists South Fremantle and East Perth have been tipped to fight out the 2026 Sullivan Logistics WAFL Premiership in September.

Four out of our six media experts have forecast a flag for the Royals, while the Bulldogs are considered strong contenders to complete back-to-back premierships.

When it comes to bold pre-season predictions, Mitch Woodcock from The West Australian has gone out on a limb, forecasting a Simpson Medal for Eagles premiership player and former Port Adelaide star Willie Rioli.

The small forward has been linked with the Bulldogs but is yet to sign a deal with the club.

Sport FM’s Jacob Landsmeer has predicted Perth to continue its revival this year, declaring the Demons potential Grand Finalists, playing East Perth in the decider.
