Five WA players were selected by AFL clubs in last night's AFL mid-season draft.
Jacob Blight from Peel Thunder was the first WA player chosen, with Richmond using pick number two for the centre-half back. Blight's impressive start to the season with Peel earned him a spot in the KIA State team.
West Perth key forward Jasper Scaife was selected by Hawthorn, having scored two or more goals in three WAFL games this season for the Falcons.
Subiaco's Luker Kentfield will join fellow Lions player Koltyn Tholstrup at Melbourne. The 194cm key forward is known for his strong contested marking and versatility in the ruck.
