2024 Marsh AFL National Championships U18 Boys All Australian TeamWednesday, July 17, 2024 - 1:06 PM

Two West Australians have been named in the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships U18 Boys All Australian Team.

Peel Thunder midfielder Bo Allan and Claremont defender Clancy Dennis were included in the side after standout performances during the Championships.

WAFC State Talent Manager Adam Jones congratulated the WA pair.

“Fantastic result for Bo and Clancy, really well deserved for both boys,” Jones said.

“However, we are a bit disappointed Jaxon Artemis wasn’t recognised for his fantastic carnival.”

Jones has explained the contrasting journey towards All-Australian selection for the WA pair.

“Bo was touted quite highly before coming into the Championships but for him to get All-Australian after injuring his back in our first trial game and missing three weeks including Round 1 of the championships is a credit to his professionalism and character,” he said.

“Clancy is a bit different with not many clubs knowing too much about him leading into the Championships, so for him an All-Australian selection will enhance his prospects for the 2024 draft.”
