In a major boost for the WAFL, Sullivan Logistics has agreed to become the competition’s naming rights sponsor for the next four years.
It’s the first time since 2021 the WAFL has had a naming rights partner.
The agreement also includes naming rights to the WAFL Little League and presenting partner of WAFL Regional Games.
In addition, Sullivan Logistics is now a major partner of the Kia WAFL State Team and WAFLW State Team as well as major partner of the WAFLW and Rogers Cup competitions.
The agreement celebrates Sullivan Logistics’ deep connection to Western Australia, providing reliable, efficient, and sustainable logistics solutions, supporting both the state's football community and local sporting events.
WAFC CEO Michael Roberts is delighted Sullivan Logistics has joined forces with the WAFL as the official transport and logistics partner and naming rights partner of the WAFL.
“Having Sullivan Logistics as a naming rights partner is a great result for the WAFL and the health of the game in WA,” Roberts said.
“The WAFC values the support, and his team have provided over the past two years and look forward to working closely over the next four years in male and female football throughout the state.”
Tim Sullivan, owner of Sullivan Logistics, has no doubt increasing his company’s commitment to local football is the right move.
“As a proud Western Australian family-owned business and as passionate supporters of WA footy, we are excited to be the new naming rights partner of the WAFL,” Sullivan said.
“We have loved our role as a major partner over the past two years supporting the little league at WAFL games, regional matches and activations, and providing support for both the WAFL and WAFLW.
“It was a natural progression for us take another step forward and become the new WAFL naming rights partner for the next four years.
“We are excited to extend our support for WA footy as the WAFL continues to grow and thrive, and we would like to express our sincere thanks to the Western Australian Football Commission for this incredible opportunity."
The deal also features a WAFL Premiership Cup Trophy Tour across WA, with Sullivan Logistics’ role to transport the iconic trophy and help connect with regional WAFL fans.
This will be delivered in alignment with the WAFC commitment to delivering mental health training throughout regional WA and an ongoing commitment by Sullivan Logistics throughout regional WA.
Another initiative next year will be the Sullivan Logistics Sports Deck, a hospitality opportunity for supporters at selected WAFL games.
“To further enhance and build our support for the WAFL and the clubs, we are excited to launch the Sullivan Logistics Sports Deck, which will be featured at local and regional games throughout the season,” Sullivan said.
“It will offer enhanced engagement opportunities for members and fans.
“We look forward to collaborating with the league and the clubs to offer our support and to bring this vision to life."
