Nutrien Ag Solutions Country Football Championships Set to Break Records in 2025Friday, May 16, 2025 - 10:41 AM

Country football’s biggest stage is gearing up for a blockbuster showing as the Nutrien Ag Solutions Country Football Championships return to the Perth and Peel regions this July.

Now in its 59th edition — and marking the 51st year of Nutrien Ag Solutions’ proud partnership with Country Football WA — the 2025 Championships promise to be the biggest yet, bringing 25 teams together to compete across five divisions.

Over 50 matches will be played across eight venues from July 10-13, with the CBH Group Colts divisions kicking off on July 10 and 11 and the Nutrien Ag Solutions Men’s divisions running from July 11–13.

Teams are traveling from all corners of Western Australia, from the Kimberley in the north to Esperance in the south, highlighting the depth and passion of regional football. Notable features this year include:

  • The return of the Pilbara Colts team after sitting out in 2024, marking the first time since 2010 the Colts have been split into two divisions.

  • Lower South West’s return to the Championships after last fielding a side in 2018.

  • Great Southern’s move into Division 2 for the first time since 2017, and Great Northern’s entry into Division 1 after topping Division 2 last year.

  • Historic PSA venues, with Scotch College and Guilford Grammar hosting the first day of the CBH Group Colts — the first time Country Championships football has been played at these school grounds.

  • A return to the newly-redeveloped East Fremantle Oval (Good Grocer Park), hosting games for the first time since the upgrade.

Entry to all Colts games will be free, and fans across the State will be able to follow every match via live streaming on Streamer, bringing the action directly into homes throughout regional WA.

Brent Sheridan, Country Competitions Manager, said excitement was building ahead of the event.

“It’s amazing to see the strong passion and commitment to the Nutrien Ag Solutions Championships continue. With 17 men’s teams and eight Colts teams playing across five divisions, 2025 is arguably going to be our biggest championships to date,” Sheridan said.

"We are thrilled to again bring the Championships into the homes and onto the screens of people throughout country WA, with all games being live streamed on the Streamer platform this year.”
