The AAMI WA Football State 16s Boys are in the box seat for their first AFL National Under-16s Championships since 2017 after defeating Vic Metro on the Gold Coast today to remain undefeated.

Congratulations to Claremont young gun Heath Mellody for winning the AAMI WA Football State 18s Boys MVP award on the back of a consistent championships.
Mellody averaged 28.3 disposals, five marks and four rebounds 50s across the carnival, playing a mix of half-back and midfield.
Well done to West Perth rising star Cara Dziegielewski for being named MVP of the AAMI WA Football State 18s Girls after such a consistent carnival in the ruck. 👏
