The final pre-season encounter of the Sullivan Logistics WAFL pre-season will feature a whopping 25 AFL-listed players.

West Coast host Peel Thunder at Mineral Resources Park on Saturday afternoon from 2.40pm with both sides bolstered by AFL-listed talent.

The Eagles’ squad is headlined by the returning Elijah Hewett, a first-round draft pick who’s back from a quad injury.

Premiership defender Tom Cole, SSP recruit and former Collingwood midfielder Fin Macrae and No.1 mid-season draft pick Ryan Maric are among the other notable names for West Coast, coming off an impressive pre-season victory over East Fremantle on Sunday.

Pressure forward Bailey Banfield, running machine Jeremy Sharp and first-round draft pick Adam Sweid are among the biggest names featuring for the Thunder, looking to tune up for their Good Friday blockbuster against East Fremantle in Mandurah.

Some of the other recent Dockers draftees in action include ball magnet Toby Whan, dangerous small forward Leon Kickett and mature-ager Tobyn Murray.

WAFL recruits including towering big man Toby Cossor, former Collingwood VFL gun Lachie Tardew – fresh off winning a Northern Territory Football League premiership with Nightcliff – and former country stars Dustin Walters and Darcy Wallinger will also line up for Peel.

Collingwood premiership tall Mason Cox hasn’t been named for the Thunder after an eye-catching debut in last Saturday’s loss to Claremont, with several of the Dockers’ AFL emergencies a chance to come back in.

No other senior WAFL teams will play this weekend.
