IT WAS an eventful and perhaps pivotal Round 12 of the 2015 WAFL season with Subiaco moving further clear on top, Peel Thunder consolidating a spot in the top five, Claremont entering a finals position and Swan Districts scoring a crucial win to stay in contention.
The round began with the one match on Saturday afternoon and that saw Subiaco beat South Fremantle 9.12 (66) to 6.8 (44) at Medibank Stadium to see the Lions move three games clear on top of the ladder.
Then on Sunday, Peel Thunder beat East Perth 17.12 (114) to 13.14 (92) at Bendigo Bank Stadium, Swan Districts defeated East Fremantle 12.7 (79) to 11.8 (74) at ATOM Stadium and Claremont won a fifth straight downing Perth 20.8 (128) to 13.6 (84) at Lathlain Park.
