Congratulations to Claremont young gun Heath Mellody who has become the first Larke Medal winner from WA since Deven Robertson in 2019.
Six votes ahead of Swan Districts’ Leo Steed runner-up in a WA one-two. Last WA one-two was Robertson and Luke Jackson in 2019.
Four West Aussies in the All-Australian Team including Mellody (captain), Steed, George Gale and Benji van Rooyen.

WA Football’s participation numbers have reached record-breaking heights for the second straight year, with more than 93,000 registered players across our State.
The increase of almost 3000 participants comes off the back of community football hitting the 70,000-mark for the first time ever, with everything from Juniors, Youth, Female, Senior, All Abilities and Masters competitions thriving.
