SOUTH Fremantle surged clear on top of the WAFL Reserves with a big win over Perth in Round 8 on Saturday while little separates East Fremantle, Peel Thunder and Swan Districts in the REDiMED Colts.
The reserves matches on Saturday saw Claremont defeat Peel Thunder 22.15 (147) to 8.7 (55) at Fremantle Community Bank Oval, East Fremantle down West Perth 16.11 (107) to 9.10 (64) at East Fremantle Oval, South Fremantle beat Perth 22.12 (144) to 5.4 (34) at Lathlain Park and Swan Districts prevail over Subiaco 11.8 (74) to 9.11 (65) at Steel Blue Oval.
The results saw South Fremantle (6-1) move a game and percentage clear on top of the ladder in the reserves. Perth (5-2) remains in second spot ahead of Claremont (4-3), East Fremantle (3-3) and Subiaco (3-4).
